Synapse is a mixed-use development in Cleveland, Ohio focused on education, connectivity, and health to foster economic mobility and community resilience.

We designed an Education Hub that would be supported by local medical industries, diverse housing typologies, and enhanced transit to create an inclusive, vibrant neighborhood. The design preserves key industrial features of the site while supporting the growth of new economy sectors such as medical industries and sports events. It is also designed to connect seamlessly with Cleveland’s waterfront developments, including new pedestrian bridges and vehicular connection, enhancing livability and access to the lakefront.

A comprehensive real estate pro forma was prepared, incorporating local policies and funding opportunities to ensure financial feasibility and community alignment. This project aims to serve as a sustainable model for economic growth, social connection, and long-term prosperity.
